Motion graphics ident for Minale Tattersfield
Esteemed brand consultants Minale Tattersfield recently asked us to help visualise and create an animation for Trentino, a region of northern Italy. Having just completed a branding project in which they developed a new visual identity for the region, our brief was to produce an animation to show the evolution of the logo. All in all a very exciting, compact motion graphics project for the PFA studio!
View the animation on the Minale Tattersfield blog:

The Cast Iron Fireplace Company website is live
We’ve recently designed and built a new CMS website for The Cast Iron Fireplace Company.
The redesign involved sprucing up the site, focusing on the company’s main services and providing easily accessible information. We also developed a bespoke e-commerce solution.
The full website is now live and can be viewed here:

Keith Brumpton site live!
We have been working hard here at PFA to construct a Flash landscape with depth… a living insight into the brain of childrens author and TV writer/creator Keith Brumpton. From mapping out the original idea to using and converting Keiths own illustration into animation, the site has a playful navigation that encourages users to explore (there is a quick navigation at the top for those of you with less patience!). The site shows off some of Keiths vast body of work and also acts as a sort of visual collage of Keith’s life with references to his interests and his childhood in Newcastle.
We will post more info when we get a moment and also put a case study on the pleasefindattached website. But for the moment have a look and see what you think. http://www.keithbrumpton.co.uk/

PFA brand MTG

March and April have seen us busily working alongside the partners of new City law firm Maurice Turnor Gardner LLP (MTG), designing their branding and website ready for their official launch on May 1st.MTG were formed as a result of the demerger of Allen & Overy’s private client practice earlier this year and appointed PFA as their brand consultants to create the firms visual identity.
We were keen to nudge the boundary of what is a traditionally conservative industry, by producing a dynamic yet established brand that reflected the members reputations and expertise.
The first stage of the website has gone live today (1st May ‘09), so do take a look: www.mauriceturnorgardner.com

Bend your knees

No, this is not a health and safety notice, but the title of a short film that we have just designed the titles for. Directed by Peter Blach, it is a dark, satyrical sketch set in purgatory.
We also produced one of the visual effects – a pair of demonic glowing eyes…
It was a great project to be involved with and we look forward to seeing it on the big screen!
